July 6 – 9: Lane Closures On Pitt’s Bay Road

“The Ministry of Public Works informed motorists that there will be lane closures on Pitt’s Bay Road, Pembroke Parish for the Highland Sanitation Services to carry out repair works on a Septic Pit.

A Government spokesperson said, “The closures will take place at property situated on 20 Pitt’s Bay Road, Pembroke. The nearest junction to this site are Between The Walls and Pitt’s Bay Road.

“The north lane on Pitts Bay Road near this property will be closed to all traffic to give the contractor access to the site. Motorists will be required to drive around their work vehicle as this works takes place. The lane closure will be under traffic control during this road side works taking place.

“The works is to commence on Tuesday 6th July through to Friday 9th July between the hours of 9:30 am and 3:30 pm to accommodate these works. Motorists will be restricted to use one lane during these times.

“Traffic controls will be under direction of the Highland Sanitation Company representatives.Motorists are encouraged to avoid this section of road works, and use alternative routes.

“The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.

“Should there be any questions regarding these works, please direct queries to the attention of Mr. Astley Grant at the Sanitation Service LTD on 517-7664.”

    Taking bets for the wall on harbor road, when it will be complete. I say at least christmas..
    This govt would rather inconvenience road users again on harbornroad, then outsource that wall.. it’s a danger get a private company so it can be completed in 2021.
