Video: Dr Douglas Hosts Duffy Celebration
Dr Ty Douglas is hosting a special broadcast today [July 27] to celebrate Flora Duffy‘s historic gold medal win at the Olympics, with the guests including Olympian Katura Horton Perinchief, Olympian Brian Wellman, the BNAA’s Donna Raynor, Director of Youth and Sport Norbert Simons, Patty Petty from the Bermuda Triathlon Association and former Secretary General of the Bermuda Olympic Association Stan Douglas.
Duffy completed the achievement of a lifetime last night [July 26], racing to victory to claim Bermuda’s first ever Olympic gold medal, and she did it in style, finishing more than one minute ahead of the silver medalist.
With her dominant win at the Olympic Games, following after her multiple world championships and her Commonwealth Games gold medal, Duffy has cemented herself as one of the greatest triathletes of all time.
