Sections Of Barr’s Bay Park To Be Unavailable
The City of Hamilton is advising that “large sections of Barr’s Bay Park will be unavailable for public use this weekend.”
A spokesperson said, “The official ‘weigh-ins’ for the 2021 Bermuda Billfish Blast will take place in Barr’s Bay Park from early in the morning until 8pm on Sunday July 4th, Monday July 5th and Tuesday July 6th; tournament organizers have rented the park space for the duration.
“This will affect all mariners wishing to pick up or collect passengers from the Barr’s Bay dock area.
“Additionally, The Big Game Classic will take place in Barr’s Bay Park from July 10th to 12th when there will be similar interruptions to access of the park and dock.
“The City of Hamilton apologizes for any inconvenience caused.”
