Tilo Facilitates Integration Of WIX With FAC
Bermuda-based First Atlantic Commerce [FAC] and Tilo announced their partnership and technical integration to enable merchants to accept online payments through the Wix platform.
A spokesperson said, “First Atlantic Commerce [FAC], an online payment solutions provider that specializes in the Caribbean and Central America, and Tilo, a fintech solution provider that enables the integration of ecommerce platforms, today announced their partnership and technical integration to enable merchants to accept online payments through the Wix platform.
“FAC is a Bermuda-based, feature-rich payment gateway that delivers customized and flexible online credit and debit card processing to companies across the Caribbean and Central America. The company also provides the first and only PCI validated P2PE solution for companies in the Latin American Caribbean Region as well as risk mitigation solutions to its merchants, banks and other gateways.
“Tilo is a Full Commerce company based in Costa Rica that provides services to merchants across Central America and the Caribbean. Tilopay, their flagship payment solution, is an integration platform that connects merchants on top ecommerce platforms worldwide to FAC’s payment gateway.
“Tilo has further developed their solution so that Wix platform users can now accept credit and debit card payments using FAC’s payment platform with settlement to local banks in the Caribbean and Central America.
“Wix is a leading cloud-based development platform with 200 million users worldwide. Their powerful technology offers a complete website design solution that allows users to create, manage, and grow an online presence.
“The plugin to Wix is enabled for features such as local currency support, tokenization, 3DSecure and fraud protection solution, Kount, as well as multi-affiliates to enable financing or installments, which are common in Central America.
