U.S. Consulate & CBP Donate Water Supply

The U.S. Consulate General Hamilton and U.S. Customs and Border Protection [CBP] agency have donated a supply of bottled water to “support Covid-19 relief efforts as the Government continues to combat the spread of the virus.”

U.S. Consul General Karen Grissette and CBP Port Director Cletus William expressed their appreciation to the Government, Ministry of Health, and all essential workers for “performing an extensive list of services which has helped to keep Bermuda safe.”

U.S. Consul General Grissette said, “The public testing sites and vaccine locations continue to play a big role in Bermuda’s success in managing the spread of Covid-19. We extend our gratitude to the Government and those operating the public testing sites over the long holiday weekend with this small donation.”

Port Director William said, “Over the past year, U.S. CBP has donated supplies and equipment to support shared security cooperation, relief efforts and essential workers. This is another small token of our appreciation to the Government of Bermuda, and we wish everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday.”

A spokesperson said, “The U.S. Consulate General, U.S. Customs Border Protection and the broader U.S. community in Bermuda, thanks everyone who is working to manage the crisis and doing their part to protect themselves and others.
