Firefighters Extinguish Cycle Fire In Pembroke
Firefighters extinguished a fire on Euclid Avenue this morning [Aug 28], with with a “cycle fully involved in fire.”
A BFRS spokesperson said, “On August 28, 2021 at 8:01am, the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service Dispatch received a report of a cycle on fire on Euclid Avenue, Pembroke.
“BFRS responded from Hamilton Station with one appliance and a total of four firefighters. Upon arrival fire crews found one cycle fully involved in fire right next to a structure.
“The officer in charge instructed firefighters wearing breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire using water from the fire appliance.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
