Update April 11, 10.27am: A spokesperson said, “Our family is deeply grateful to share that Valentino [Tino] has been found and is now safely back home. After several difficult days of searching, we are overwhelmed with relief and appreciation for the outpouring of support from the Bermuda community.

“From the moment Valentino went missing, the response from neighbours, volunteers, and the wider public was immediate and heartfelt. People called in sightings, shared information, checked their properties, and showed up day after day to help us search. We extend our sincere thanks to every single person who supported us, whether by spreading the word, offering encouragement, or physically joining the search.

“We want to give a special thank‑you to the dedicated individuals who showed up every day with their feet on the ground, walking the roads, checking the brush, and refusing to give up. Your commitment carried us through this ordeal.

“We also extend our deepest gratitude to the SPCA team, whose continued support, guidance, and presence were instrumental in bringing Valentino home. Their professionalism and compassion made a tremendous difference.

“Valentino is now safe, alert, and acting like his normal playful, energetic self—already herding us around the house as if no time has passed. He will be checked by a veterinarian later today, but at this time he appears well and in good spirits.

“This experience has left us emotional, humbled, and profoundly moved by the strength of community. We cannot thank Bermuda enough for standing with us. Your kindness brought our family back together.

“Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for helping bring Valentino home.”
