IAC Provides Free Youth Worker Training Series

The Inter Agency Committee for Children and Families [IAC] is providing a free personal development training series for professionals working with youth.

A spokesperson said, “The virtual training will be facilitated by Mirrors Programme Manager and Master Trainer Jeanene Todd and will include 6 two-hour sessions starting on September 16th at 9am.

“The objective of the training series is to empower youth development workers with interpersonal skills and tools to build meaningful and purposeful relationships with youth. The series aims to develop a strengths-based approach, including how to listen to and understand young people.

“The training is virtual and will be held from 9:00am-11:00am on the following Thursdays: September 16th, September 30th, October 7th, October 21st, November 4th and November 18th. Registration is open until September 10th, however space is limited. Interested youth workers can register online here.
