UK Cricket: Scotland & Hollis Top Scorers
Bermudian cricketers Marcus Scotland and Dennico Hollis were in action for their respective teams in the UK, with both young cricketers the top scorers for their teams.
Marcus Scotland
Marcus Scotland led Team Chevy to back-to-back Twenty20 matches during the African Caribbean Cricket Associations Annual Derek Gift-Simms Annual Emancipation Day Cricket matches.
The matches were played at the South Hampstead Cricket Club, Team Chevy scored 147 and then restricted Team Theo 85, Scotland scored 57 in the match.
In the second match, Scotland led again, scoring 54 runs in the win.
Dennico Hollis
Dennico Hollis and his Stenhousemuir 1st XI teammates were back in action against Helensburgh, losing by 58 runs.
Batting first, Helensburgh scored 261/8, C Alexander was the top scorer with 102 not out, while S Thokur returned figures of 9-0-36-3, Hollis bowled 8-1-33-0.
In reply, Stenhousemuir were bowled out for 203, Hollis was the top scorer with 83 not out.
