Bermuda Match Play Championships Underway

The Bermuda Match Play Championships got underway yesterday at the Port Royal Golf Course with a Stroke Play Qualifier round to seed the players for the upcoming matches.

The current Men’s Champion, Jevon Roberts will take the 1st seed position by default and the 16 players who competed yesterday were therefore competing for the remaining 15 places. The low round of the day went to Jarryd Dillas with a 2-over par 73 with Adam Perry one stroke behind on 74.

In the Senior Men’s Championship Division, Barry Brewer had the low round of the day with a 79 with Craig Christensen one stroke behind. The defending Senior Men’s Champion, Ian Page took the third spot with 82.

The Ladies Championship Division will be playing their Stroke Play Qualifier today.
