MarketPlace Extends Discount Until End Of Year

MarketPlace announced that their three-times weekly 5% discount will be extended until the end of the year.

A spokesperson said, “The extended offering of the three-times weekly discount – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday – which was due to end September 30, is our way of continuing to support our communities, will end on December 31 when it will be reviewed.”

Seth Stutzman, president of The MarketPlace group of companies, said: “With the continuing uncertainty for all and recent spike in cases, it’s vital we do what we can to continue to support our communities.

“I’m delighted that we can continue to support our valued customers by further extending our three-times weekly discount. We hope this gesture combined with our savings initiatives will make life a little easier for our valued customers.”

    Guess what …. with their constant increases of items in their stores , many unjustifiable , they get it back in many ways .
    Market Place has 9 stores island wide , they should be the cheapest grocery shop because of bulk ordering compared to the single and duo shops.
    Also they have less check out counters open so i do not believe your getting any breaks … just my opinion !

      I agree, they are more expensive the many other stores so the ‘discount’ is simply a marketing ploy as they are making the same money and not really giving anything back. Empire Grocery on Northshore is consistently cheaper than Marketplace and they are just one little solo store.
