Bowlers Continue PANAM Elite Championships

The Bermuda bowlers have completed competing in the 2021 PANAM Bowling Elite Championships Men’s Singles in Columbia.

The Bermuda team of David Maycock, Lamar Richardson, Damien Matthews, Carl Reid, Dennis Joell, Dayvon Tucker, and Steven Riley are looking to qualify for next years World Cup and World Games.

Reid was the top Bermuda bowler in the Men’s Singles finishing in 27th place, after his six games, Reid bowled 1,154 pins, with his best game being the final game when he bowled a 232, he had an average of 192.33.

Matthews finished 35th with 1,137 pins, he had an average of 189.50, his best game coming in the sixth game bowling 243. Maycock finished 55th with a pin count of 1,081, he had an average of 180.17, with his best game of 205 coming in the fifth game.

Richardson finished 62nd with 1,066 pins, he had an average of 177.67, with a 208 in the fourth game as his best, Tucker finished in 77th place with a total of 1,001 pins, Tucker bowled an average of 166.83, with his best game being 203, which was his second game.

Joell was 82nd with 923 pins, his best game was his first of 177, with an average of 153.83.
