Esposito & UMBC Compete In Swim Meet
In their first meet of the 2021-22 season, Vanessa Esposito and her University of Maryland, Baltimore County [UMBC] women’s swimming and diving teammates competed against Delaware and Johns Hopkins at the UMBC Aquatics Complex.
UMBC defeated Johns Hopkins, 157.5-122.5, but fell to Delaware, 171-129.
Esposito finished 4th in the women’s 1000 yard freestyle touching the wall in a time of 10:53.17.
During the women’s 100 yard freestyle Esposito finished 9th clocking 55.87, and Esposito swam the third leg for the UMBC women’s 400 yard freestyle relay team that finished 5th clocking 3:42.39.
