Lane Closure For Underground Trench Work

The Ministry of Public Works said that underground trench work will occur on Harbour Road west of Keith Hall Road junction.

A Government spokesperson said, “The lane closure will commence Monday October 11th, 2021 through to Wednesday October 13th, 2021. Working hours will be from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm daily.

“The public is advised to avoid this section of Harbour Road between Belmont Road and Keith Hall Road and to use detour routes via South Road and Middle Road.

“Traffic controls will be under direction of Invisible Trenching representatives and will be managed through traffic control signals along with stop and go signage during rush hour traffic.

“The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.

“Should there be any questions regarding this lane closure, please direct queries to the attention of Tina Beer-Searle, Civil Engineer Highways for the Ministry of Public Works on 501-3044.”
