TROIKA Calls For Choreography Submissions
TROIKA Bermuda is currently accepting submissions from choreographers aged 13 to 30-years-old for the fourth Young Choreographers Showcase.
A spokesperson said, “TROIKA Bermuda is currently accepting submissions from young choreographers who are interested in participating in their fourth Young Choreographers Showcase, entitled ‘FYE.’
“Young choreographers between the ages of 13 – 30 years old are encouraged to submit their choreographic works.
“To be considered, interested choreographers must submit by email a headshot, resume and a 60 second clip of their dance style. Also explain why you should be selected to choreograph for the showcase [no more than 300 words].

“The deadline for consideration is October 31st, 2021. Auditions for dancers who are interested in performing in the production will be held in November. This initiative will be under the creative direction of Shanna Henry and Sacha Dill.
“Through this initiative, young performers are encouraged to strive for their own artistic excellence. Now in its fourth installment, the dance showcase has become a creative and explosive presentation highlighting the choreographic talents and passion for dance by Bermuda’s young people.
“The selected young choreographers will have the opportunity to submit their choreographed work in the showcase production. Submissions from all genres of dance are welcomed. Talented dancers are also welcomed to participate in the production.
“This initiative is being supported by The Centennial Foundation, The Chubb Foundation, The Liberty Group, One Communications, The Department of Youth, Sport & Recreation and Bermuda Community Foundation.”
