Basketball: Reapers & Young Goatz Win
Another double-header took place inside the CedarBridge Academy Gymnasium as the Bermuda Basketball Association’s Island Basketball League continued, with a total of 223 points in the two matches.
In the opener, the Reapers defeated The Answer 70 – 60.Mykal Glasgow scored 21 points to lead the Reapers to victory, while Gershon Kurt scored 16 points and he had 22 rebounds. Jahzion Lugo scored 19 points for The Answer, to go along with a team-high 8 rebounds, while Eric lambert added 14 points.
In the nightcap, the Young Goatz defeated the Splash Brothers 51 – 42, Te’jour Riley led the Young Goatz to victory with a team-high 14 points, while Sabur Burrows added 10 points, while Jason Lowe scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Splash Brothers.
