Bermuda Ball Hockey Winter League Underway
The Bermuda Ball Hockey Winter League got underway with a double-header taking place at the PCC Hockey Rink, which saw another 18 goals scored.
Positive Image Dental 1 Frontier 3
In the opener, Frontier defeated Positive Image Dental 3 – 1.
Matthew Benson scored the only goal in the first period to give Frontier the lead, Pete Brodsky doubled the Frontier lead in the second period, but just before the period ended, Brian White pulled a goal back for Positive Image Dental.
Benson restored the Frontier two-goal lead when he found the back of the net in the third period.
Outback 6 Liberty Mutual 8
The nightcap resulted in 14 goals being scored as Liberty Mutual defeated Outback 8 – 6.
Anthony Kapsimalis and Chris Coleman scored hat-tricks to lead Liberty Mutual to the win, with Matt Katzsch and Jon Talbot adding a goal each.
Robbie Bailey scored a hat-trick for Outback, who also got single strikes from Shannon Gosse, Riley O’Brien, and Craig Macneil.
