Bermuda Bowlers Begin Super Championships

The Bermuda’s National Men’s Bowling Team took to the lanes as the International Bowling Federation [IBF] Super World Championships got underway at the Dubai International Bowling Center in the United Arab Emirates.

The Bermuda team of David Maycock, Lamar Richardson, Damien Matthews, Dennis Joell, and Steven Riley are up against the best bowlers in the world from over 50 countries.

In the Men’s Singles, Richardson was the top Bermuda Bowler finishing 18th with a five-game bowling total of 1,105, he had an average of 221 per game.

Joell was the second Bermuda bowler and 28th overall with 1,069 pins, and Matthews finished 46th with a pin count of 1,000.
