Bermuda Teams Compete In New York Rugby 7s
The New York Sevens Rugby Tournament recently concluded, with the Bermuda 7s playing in Pool A and Bermuda playing in Pool B.
The Bermuda 7s team reached the final, while the Bermuda team was eliminated in the semi-final.
Bermuda 7s got things underway with a match 45 – 7 win over the Cocks. Their next match saw them defeat the New Jersey RFC 31 – 10, before closing out the group stage with a win against Rugby SaLac.
The Bermuda team kick off their tournament with a 45 – 0 win over the West Hartford Yahoos. They then met Bison Rugby, before closing out with a match against Roots Rugby.
Playing in the Men’s Club Cup Semi-Final 1, the Bermuda 7s team advanced to the final by defeating Rugby SaLac 33 – 7, while the Bermuda team went down in the Men’s Club Cup Semi-Final 2 to MET New York Rugby Under 23s 17 – 15.
The Bermuda 7s team then fell to the MET New York Rugby Under 23s in the Men’s Club Cup Final.
