Golf: Brian Morris In Top 3 On PGA Social Media
There were over 100 golfers taking part in the Butterfield Bermuda Championships and judging by the official PGA social media accounts, Bermuda’s Brian Morris was one of the most popular in the field, with their videos featuring the inspirational story of the Bermudian golfer exceeding 1/3 million video views.
Mr Morris, the Ocean View Golf Club head golf professional, made his first professional start at the event, with the golfer — who has terminal stage 4 cancer — earning loud applause as he made his debut at Port Royal.
The official PGA Facebook page – which has over 2.7 million fans — posted approximately 30 videos and photos spanning the Bermuda Butterfield championships, and the one featuring Bermudian Brian Morris was very popular, attaining the second most comments and shares of all their Bermuda related content, and attaining the third highest views with approximately 180,000.
The PGA’s two videos featuring Mr Morris also attained over 120,000 views on Twitter and 24,000 on the PGA’s Instagram, so across the PGA’s social media networks the videos featuring the Bermuda golfer surpassed 1/3 million video views within a few days, and the views are likely to continue to grow.
The Golf Channel also highlighted Mr Morris in a special video feature, which you can watch below.
