Nick Pilgrim Competes In Junior Pan Am Games
Nick Pilgrim was the second Bermuda athlete to represent the island as the 2021 Junior Pan American Games got underway in Cali, Colombia.
Competing in the Men’s Triathlon, Pilgrim finished 23rd as Brazilian Miguel Lopes Hidalgo stormed to victory.
Hidalgo clocked a winning time of 56:40, Eduardo Nuñez Gomez from Mexico was second in 5:01, and Cesar Xavier Criollo Matute from Ecuador finished third with a time of 59:13.
Pilgrim clocked a time of 1:00:05, he recorded a time of 22:32 on the swim, a time of 30:36 on the bike, before closing out with a run time of 9:35.
