RA Publish Consumer Complaints Report
The Regulatory Authority [RA] has published its Consumer Protection Consumer Complaints Report for the Electricity and Electronic Communications sectors for the fiscal year, 2020-21.
The report showed there were a total of 181 inquiries, complaints and disputes; 52 were provided consumer guidance or redirected to service provider, 26 were fully resolved, 2 were referred to arbitration or adjudication and one was formally dismissed without merit.
A spokesperson said, “The Regulatory Authority [RA] has today published its Consumer Protection Consumer Complaints Report for the Electricity and Electronic Communications sectors for the fiscal year, 2020-21.
“As the RA is mandated to protect consumers, it routinely receives escalated complaints from consumers regarding their service provider[s]. The Consumer Complaints Report details the types of complaints received, and their outcomes.”
