Video: Territories Lay Wreaths At Service In UK
Representatives of the British Overseas Territories – including Bermuda — laid a wreath today [Nov 14] at the Remembrance Day Service in the United Kingdom.
The Bermuda London Office tweeted the video below, saying: “It was an honour to lay a wreath on behalf the Government and people of Bermuda at Remembrance Day Service today at the Cenotaph alongside the Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories.”
Queen Elizabeth was supposed to attend, however she missed the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph due to a sprained back, extending the 95-year-old monarch’s absence from public life.
