Basketball League: Reapers & Young Goatz Win
The Bermuda Basketball Association’s Island Basketball League continued with a double-header inside the CedarBridge Academy Gymnasium as the season continued.
A total of 204 points were scored in the two matches.
In the opener, the Reapers improved to 4 & 1 on the season following a 56 – 45 win over the Splash Brothers.
Mykal Glasgow would lead the Reapers to victory in the scoring department with 23 points, while Gershon Kurt led the team with 20 rebounds, Jason Lowe scored 16 points for the Splash Brothers, he also led the team in the rebounds with 15.
In-Game Two, The Answer went down 57 – 46 to the Young Goatz.
Vladimir Petrov led the Young Goatz with a double-double, he scored 16 points and he grabbed 20 rebounds, while Jahzion Lugo scored 20 points for The Answer, with Eric Lambert grabbing 11 rebounds to lead the team.
