Leverock, Rawlins, Scorpions Earn Another Win
Kamau Leverock, Delray Rawlins and their Florida Scorpions teammates extended their lead on top of the Group 2 Standings in the US Open Cricket T20 Tournament by defeating the Samp Army by 19 runs.
After a lengthy delay, the match was reduced to 10 overs. The Florida Scorpions batted first and scored 147/3, Rawlins was the top scorer with 44 not out, off 19 deliveries, he hit 5 fours and 1 six, while Leverock added 33 from 16 balls with 1 four and 3 sixes.
In reply Samp Army would fall 19 runs short of their target as they scored 128/9, Rahkeem Cornwall was the top scorer with 62, while Leverock was the pick of the Florida Scorpion bowlers with figures of 2-0-9-2, Rawlins bowled 2-0-21-2.
