“The Salvation Army plays an important role in helping those in need on a path of stability during times of uncertainty. They have served our community since 1896 through their numerous programmes and services.

“Their Emergency Shelter provides room and board, seven days a week, for persons who are without basic living resources. Their Lifeskills Management Programme and Addictions Programming. Their Pathway of Hope Programme which assists families in need who are seeking to move out of an undesirable living situation.

“The Salvation Army provides for a way out and a way up, often advocating for persons in order to better their living conditions.”

“We are thankful that the Salvation Army supports our most vulnerable populations, and to assist we provide with a yearly grant to support operational expenses for the emergency shelter, however as I am sure you can imagine, the more they receive the more they can give.
