‘Proposes To Approve The Proposed Transaction’
The Regulatory Authority of Bermuda has published its proposed Preliminary Report and Decision regarding a Change of Control request submitted by Globenet Cabos Submarinos Bermuda Ltd.
A spokesperson said, “After reviewing and assessing the proposed information, the public, including electronic communications sectoral participants, sectoral providers, and other interested parties are invited to provide their feedback before 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. Please visit www.ra.bm and select the ‘respond to an open public consultation’ button on the homepage to access the document.”
The report notes, “The RA proposes to approve the Proposed Transaction, subject to receipt of the Minister’s written consent in accordance with sections 18(6) of the ECA and condition 20 of the ICOL.”
