Man Arrested In Connection With Stabbing
A 58-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 56-year-old man in St George’s on Sunday [Jan 9], the police have confirmed.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 7:25pm on Sunday January 9th 2022, a 56-yr-old man attended the Southside Police Station, to report that he had been stabbed in the area of the Scrap Yard, Southside, St. George’s.
“The victim was transported to KEMH for treatment of his injuries, where he remains in ICU. However, his condition is not known at this time.
“A short while later, a 58-yr-old man was arrested and detained in connection with this incident.
“Detectives are appealing for any witnesses to this stabbing incident to call the Criminal Investigations Department on 247-1744 or 211 as soon as possible.
“Members of the public with any relevant information are also encouraged to call the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477””
Doesn’t anyone have any value for life anymore. So easy to put a knife in someone, how about sitting down and having some dialogue with each other. So much hate.
