Bermuda Drivers Conclude Daytona Kart Week
Bermuda kart drivers — Scott Barnes, Marc Tucker, Brian Bulhoes, and Brian Hall — have concluded competing in the Daytona Kart Week.
Barnes claimed one win and two second place finishes, and speaking after the races he said, “I had a shot at 4 wins, lost two right at the finish line by inches in KZ Shifter and 206 Masters on Road Course and broken shift lever in stock Honda.
“It was still a fun week racing, other than the hospital trip, another win at the world Famous Daytona International Speedway to add to the resume.
“I couldn’t be prouder of other Bermuda boys Tucker, Bolhoes, and Hall for doing great work and picking up big time experience out here racing at Daytona. Well done boys!”
Barnes closes out an amazing 2021 season, picking up a win in every major event he entered which included Super Karts USA Florida Winter Tour, Pro Tour, Rock Island, Daytona Kart Week & Podium at Super Nats.
