“How To Turn Uncertainty Into Opportunity”

January 5, 2022

The Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a webinar — entitled “Change – How to Turn Uncertainty Into Opportunity” — via Zoom on Wednesday, January 26th.

A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the first Webinar Wednesday Lunch and Learn of 2022, ‘Change – How to Turn Uncertainty Into Opportunity.’ This educational opportunity is open to members and nonmembers of the Chamber of Commerce, and will be held online via Zoom on Wednesday, January 26th 2022 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.

“The session is designed for leaders and individuals seeking to better navigate any workplace change to improve results, and is relevant for professionals within business, government, and non-profit settings.

“Change happens all the time. It’s everywhere, it’s increasing in pace, and it’s not going away. Successful change takes more than great processes – it’s people who make change happen. As humans, we’re wired to react to change to survive, which can make change feel difficult or even threatening.

2022 Q1 SAVE THE DATES

“The good news is that while every change is unique, there’s a predictable pattern. When your people understand and navigate this pattern, they learn to manage reactions to change, proactively prepare for it, and get more effective results.

“The webinar will be an overview of FranklinCovey’s new workshop ‘Change- How to Turn Uncertainty into Opportunity’ and will be presented by Richard James, Leadership Consultant for FranklinCovey Bermuda. The session will explore the predictable pattern of change, human reactions to change, the leader’s role in the change process, and coaching your team to adapt to change.”

Martha Kirkland said, “Decision-makers will leave this webinar with an understanding of FranklinCovey’s approach to engaging teams to improve results through change.”

Kendaree Burgess, Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber of Commerce, stated, “As we enter into our third year of the Covid-19 pandemic, where workplace norms are ever changing, all sectors of the business community should be interested in understanding how to adapt and evolve accordingly. This webinar will be helpful to leaders guiding their teams through change in 2022.”

Registration fees are $35 for Chamber members and $50 for non-members. Please visit the Chamber website at www.bermudachamber.bm to register. Alternatively, you can call 295-4201.
