112 Motorists Ticketed For Speeding In 4 Days
Over the past four days, police have issued 112 tickets for speeding, as well as a number of tickers for other traffic offences.
In an online post, the Bermuda Police Service said, “Early morning Operation Vega exercises across the island. Tickets were issued for speeding, un-licensed & uninsured vehicles, driving without due care & attention and disobeying traffic signs. At least 3 arrests for outstanding warrants and one arrest for going equipped for stealing. Top speed for the morning was 83kmh.
“Of note, over the past four days:
- 112 tickets were issued for speeding
- 6 for operating an unlicensed vehicle
- 6 for having no insurance
- 4 for not having a driver’s license
- 21 for disobeying traffic signs
- 1 for failure to stop for police
- 5 for driving without due care and attention.

This sounds hard to prove unless they had specific written plans which they accidentally flashed to the police during a traffic stop.
