Ariel Re Donates Over $16,000 To Families
Ariel Re has partnered with charity advocate Fiona Dill to donate over $16,000 to Bermudian families through the company’s employee giving campaign.
A spokesperson said, “Ariel Re, a Bermuda-based reinsurance business with offices in Bermuda, London and Hong Kong, is proud to announce it partnered with Bermudian charity advocate Fiona Dill to donate over $16,000 to Bermudian families through Ariel Re’s employee giving campaign.
“Ariel Re’s employees took part in a fundraising campaign to raise donations for charitable causes in Bermuda. Ariel Re matched the donations raised by its workforce, which increased the total fundraising amount to over $16,000.
“Funds totaling just over $12,000 raised during the employee giving campaign were used to purchase vouchers from various local vendors that will be used to contribute to the wellbeing of Bermudian families experiencing financial and food instability made worse by the pandemic.
“Ariel Re also made a $4,000 lump sum donation to the Transformational Living Centre [www.tlc.bm], which is a purpose built housing shelter and facility that seeks to address the growing problem of homelessness among families in Bermuda and where the guests are provided with a range of developmental, educational and therapeutic programmes designed to heal and empower with a goal of achieving self-sufficiency and the capacity to thrive successfully within the broader community.”
Ariel Re Chief Executive Officer Ryan Mather said, “Being a responsible corporate citizen is one of our corporate values, we are committed to making a meaningful contribution to the communities in which we operate and where our employees live and work.
“I am incredibly proud of our employees, who recognize the important role non-profits play in helping our community, and generously stepped up to help support so many families across Bermuda.
“Our goal is to make many more contributions to help Bermuda families through not only monetary donations, but also volunteering our time in the community. We are committed to supporting the organizations that work tirelessly to help people in need.”
