Ball Hockey: Outback & BDA Spirits Win
Another Bermuda Ball Hockey Winter League double-header took place at the PCC Hockey Rink with 19 goals scored between the two matches.
Outback 4 – Positive Image Dental 1
In the opener, the Outback defeated Positive Image Dental 4 – 1. Craig MacNeil scored two first period goals for Outback, while Brian White scored a goal for the Positive Image Dental as the teams went to the break with the score 2- 1.
Outback scored the only goal in the second period to take a 3 – 1 lead and Adam Mattatall scored the lone goal for the other team. Jeoffrey Chisnall scored the lone goal in the third period for Outback to make the final score 4 – 1.
BDA Spirits 8 – Appleby 6
In the nightcap, BDA Spirits defeated Appleby 8 – 6. Ross Rufiange led the BDA Spirits to victory with 4 goals, and they also got single strikes from Jeff Loper, Tripp Cavies, Marcel Bouwens, and Mathieu Desjardins. Appleby got 3 goals off the stick of Kris Abramowski, with Jeff Morash adding two goals, and Andrew Kuzma scored the other.
