First Division Football: BAA Defeat Vasco 2 – 1
BAA took sole possession of second place in the First Division following their 2 – 1 win over Vasco at the BAA Field.
After a scoreless first half, Patrick Quinn gave BAA the lead in the 57th minute, only to have Vasco equalize in the 72nd minute when Michael Armstrong found the back of the net converting from the penalty spot.
With five minutes remaining, Quinn gave BAA the lead for the second time in the game, and they would hold that lead to the end closing the gap on the league leaders Hamilton Parish to 7 points.
