Hopkins Finishes Second In Time Trial In Spain
Kaden Hopkins was one of seven Essax Team members that got their 2022 season underway in Vuelta Al Guadalentin, Spain, with the Bermudian cyclist making a strong showing to finish second in a field of more than 100 riders.
A total of 113 starters, completed the race with Hopkins finishing second overall in a time of 7:14, and he was the first Equipo Essax rider overall.
Spain’s Abel Balderstone Roumens won the stage clocking a winning time of 7:12, representing Caja Rural-Alea.
Francisco Garcia Rus finished third representing Aluminios Cortizo clocking a time of 7:17.
