Oliver Betschart Competes At Hill Country Open
Oliver Betschart recently competed at the Hill Country Open at Horseshoe Bay in Texas, finishing in fifth place.
In very cold temperatures, he competed in a two-day tournament at the Hill Country Open at Horseshoe Bay, Texas, where he shot 79, 76 for a two day total of 155 on the 6354 yard, par 72 course.
Coach David Ogrin said, “He played really well. It was tough conditions and in the end he was only four shots off of the winner Braden Boone.”
Oliver Betschart said, “I was pleased, but made a few bad decisions, like club selection, and it was cold. I went through five packs of the hand warmers trying to keep feeling in my fingers.”
