Golf: Oliver Betschart Wins In Landa Park, Texas
Oliver Betschart made a strong showing to claim a win at the Landa Park Golf Course in Texas.
In his second tournament on the STPGA Junior Tour this year, the young golfer scored an even par 71, besting out the number one points leader Aadi Parmar by 3 shots, at Landa Park Golf Course in New Braunfels, Texas.
It was a cold morning with a 1 1/2 hour frost delay, shooting a 1 under on the front 9 and 1 over on the back, 5 bogeys, 3 birdies and an eagle.
Last week Oliver played at Vaaler Creek Golf Club, in Blanco Texas, shooting a 5 over par 77 and placing 5th.
He will continue to train under coach David Ogrin and play on the STPGA Junior and Prestige Tour over the next 2 months.
