PLP To Host Founders Day On February 27

The PLP inviting members and friends to its Founders Day and Drum Major Awards Luncheon which will be held this Sunday [Feb 27].

A spokesperson said, “The Progressive Labour Party invites members and friends to its Founders Day and Drum Major Awards Luncheon. This year’s event will be held on Sunday, February 27th at 2pm in the CedarBridge Academy Cafeteria.

“The Keynote speaker will be Jason Wade, Member of Parliament for Southampton East Central. The Party Leader & Premier, the Hon. E. David Burt, JP, MP will also be addressing the attendees

“The Drum Major Awards are presented to outstanding and deserving members who have made significant contributions to our community. This has been a PLP tradition at the annual Founders Day Luncheon. We will also honour some of our long serving Branch Chairpersons.

“Tickets are now on sale at PLP HQ on Court Street. General Admission is $50 and $100 for Patrons.”
