Rugby League: Renegades, Police & Mixed Win

A Bermuda Rugby Football Union triple-header was held this weekend at the  National Sports Center

In the women’s division match the Renegades defeated the Teachers 22 – 5. The Renegades got tries from Amy Harvey, Laura Pepper, Jackie Oliver and Laura Davies, with Pepper converting a conversion, while Christie Halliday scored the lone try for Teachers.

In the other women’s division match the Police defeated the Mariners 34 – 5. Anna Hurchinson and Estienne Coetze both scored hat-tricks for the Police, with Fiona Donaldson kicking 2 conversions, while Apryl Jackson scored the lone try for the Mariners.

The Renegades / Mariners Mixed team defeated the Teachers 29 – 15. The Mixed team got tries from Trae Stevens, Jamie Baum, Tom O’Healy, and Alex Brown, while David Lunn kicked 2 conversions. Hadleigh Tucker scored a try and kicked his conversion for the Teachers, with Mikle Dill doing the same.
