12,500 ‘Likes’ On Twitter For Sluggo’s Catch
ESPN’s dedicated Twitter cricket feed recently posted a video of the iconic catch of Bermudian cricketer Dwayne “Sluggo” Leverock at the 2007 World Cup, earning more than 12,000 likes.
Sluggo’s now famous diving catch has previously been featured by BBC Sport when the play earned fourth place in a vote to determine which matches and moments fans would like to see again, as well as by the BBC when it published a report titled “Cricket World Cup: 10 Moments That Shocked The Tournament.”
