Bermuda Squash Nationals 2022 Day Three
The 2022 Bermuda Squash Nationals Championships continued at the Bermuda Squash Racquets Association.
In the Men’s B Classic Plate match between Ringer and Carpol, they went the distance needing all five sets to decide a winner. Carpol defeated Ringer 11-7, 9-11, 12-10, 6-11, 11-2, while the other Live Match was in the Men’s B Division and it saw Simmons defeat Woodley 10-12, 11-6, 11-9, 9-11, 11-7.
Four other matches would need five sets to decide a winner, in another Men’s B Division match Andrew Cox defeated Rhys Puddy 6-11, 11-6, 9-11, 11-9, 11-5, Peter Cooper won his Men’s Over 45 Division match defeating Robert Simpson 11-9, 7-11, 9-11, 11-8, 11-4, while in Men’s Over 55 Division action Edwin Whickam defeated Tony Riker 12-10, 11-8, 8-11, 10-12, 11-4, and in Men’s B Bronze Plate Division action Sam Dallas defeated Paul West 6-11, 11-5, 8-11, 12-10, 14-12.
