Comedy ‘Shorts’ To Be Staged At Daylesford

A collection of short comedies written by a local playwright will be on show at the Daylesford Theatre over the coming weeks.

The production entitled Shorts, penned by Owain Johnston will tackle dark and dramatic themes such as “death, Armageddon, time travel, ocean exploration, arch rivalries” and even “vehicular arson”. It will run from March 31 to April 2 and April 7 to 9.

Johnston-Barnes will be a familiar name for regular Bermuda Musical & Dramatic Society audiences. He has won the annual BMDS Famous for 15 Minutes play-writing competition five times while his first full-length play, Killing Carlisle, premiered at the Daylesford Theatre in September 2019.
