Famous & Basden Compete In Track Meets
Two Bermuda track athletes represented their schools in outdoor track meets in the U.S, with both Sakari Famous and Brijette Basden in action.
Sakari Famous
Sakari Famous represented the McNeese State women’s track and field team at the 2022 Louisiana Classic at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Cajuns Track and Soccer Facility where she finished 2nd in the women’s high jump with a top leap of 1.66m.
Brijette Basden
Brijette Basden represented Shaw University at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge at the Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.
Competing in the women’s 200 meters, Basden finished 3rd in Heat Two and 9th overall clocking a time of 27.73.
