Firefighters Extinguish Fire In Smiths
The Bermuda and Fire Rescue Service extinguished a fire in Smiths this afternoon [March 13].
A spokesperson said, “On Sunday March 13, 2022 at 12:12pm, BFRS dispatch received a report of a vehicle fire at Tamarisk Hill, North Shore, Smiths.
“One appliance from Hamilton Station responded with four firefighters. On arrival the fire crew saw one bobcat fully involved in flames. Fire crews quickly extinguished the flames. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the fire service investigator.”
Update: A resident emailed to express thanks to the BFRS noting “we are grateful the firefighters arrived so quickly as the bobcat was parked very close to our home.”
