Police Confirm Body Found In Van In East End
Police have confirmed the sad news that a body was found in the east end today [March 9], with the police saying a body “was found in the van they were looking for.”
Noting that “unfortunately today we have some tragic news,” Assistant Commissioner of Police Antoine Daniels confirmed that a body has been located, and he extended condolences to the family.
Speaking on a live stream, which can be viewed on ZBM’s Facebook page, the police were asked whether there was any indication of foul play, and they said no, however explained that it is “early in the investigation” and they are doing “forensic investigation.”
Noting that they said do not wish to say too much at this early time, they did not officially name the person, however the police are expected to release a statement later, and we will update with the official police statement as able.
