As it pertains to the Bermudian footballer, the organisation said, “Leverock’s name will forever belong in the history of Bermuda football, as he scored the first ever Gold Cup goal for his country in the 2019 Gold Cup in a 2-1 group stage defeat to Haiti.

“Leverock scored six goals in 30 international games and collected goals in the 2011 Concacaf Men’s Under-20 Championship, Concacaf WCQ for Russia 2018, 2019-20 Concacaf Nations League Qualifying and a goal versus Mexico in the 2019-20 CNL group stage.

“Leverock also enjoyed a stellar club career, playing in various European clubs, such as Ireland’s Sligo Rovers and Radomiak Radom of Poland.

“The 2022-23 CNL serves as the second edition of the tournament in which all 41 Member Associations of Concacaf will be split across League A, League B and League C, with the group stage set to kick off in June.”
