Leverock Earns Concacaf ‘Best Goal In 2022′
The spectacular bicycle kick goal by Bermuda’s Dante Leverock has earned the #1 spot in Concacaf’s ‘Best Goals of 2022.’
Leverock — who scored the acrobatic goal against Guyana in June 2022 — has now earned a hat-trick of major accolades for the goal, as it was previously featured by ESPN as one of the Top 10 Sports Plays and FIFA also highlighted the goal to their 15 million Twitters followers.
The organisation announced their top 10 on social media and in naming the #1 goal of the year, they said, “Leverock with a spectacular bicycle kick to tie the game Bermuda in the Concacaf Nations League.”
