Swimmers Win Four More Carifta Medals

Bermuda swimmers continued competing on the third day of the 2022 Carifta Swimming Championships in Barbados, winning another four medals to bring the team’s overall tally to 12.

Bermuda captured another gold when Arabella Newport Derbyshire won the 11-12 girls 200m butterfly in a time of 2:39.10, and Marleigh Howes won a silver medal during the 13-14 girls 100 meter freestyle final with a time of 1:00.85.

Sam Williamson won the bronze medal in the 15-17 boys 50 meter breaststroke final after finishing 3rd with a time of 30.84, and Bella Howes also picked up a silver medal in the 15-17 Girls 100 meter Ffreestyle touching the wall in a time of 59.46.
