Bermuda Day Garbage Collection Advisory
The Ministry of Public Works is advising that “due to the Bermuda Day holiday, household waste that would normally be collected on Friday [May 27], will instead be collected on Saturday [May 28].”
A Government spokesperson said, “The Waste Management Section has been working tirelessly over the past week and has cleared the backlog of garbage created by mechanical issues last week.
“The Ministry of Public Works would like to once again thank the public for their patience and understanding.
“Members of the public can still use the Tynes Bay public drop-off in the lead up to Bermuda Day to dispose of household waste, recycled hazardous materials such as paints and pesticides, and bulky items.”
