Bermuda Squash Championships Day Three

A spot in the semi-finals was on offer as the Chubb Bermuda Open 2022 Squash Championships quarter-finals took place at the Bermuda Squash Racquets Association Club in Devonshire.

Matches were intense from beginning to end as the crowd on hand was treated to some entertaining squash.

Women’s Number 2 Seed Nadia Pfister from Switzerland bowed out of the tournament 3 – 0 in a 28 minute battle against Kenzy Ayman from Egypt. The Women’s Number 1 Seed Georgia Adderley from Scotland advanced with a 3 – 1 win over Diana Garcia from Mexico in a 43 minute battle.

On the Men’s side Seif Shenawy from Egypt claimed another seeded player to advance to the Semi-Finals, a day after defeating the Number 1 Seed, Shenawy defeated the Number 5 Seed Robert Downer from England in a 48 minute battle 3 – 0, while the Number 3 Seed David Baillargeon from Canada went down 3 – 2 to the Number 6 Seed Juan Camilo Vargas from Colombia in a match that lasted over an hour.
